Scarecrow Day is a great family fun day out with plenty of old fashioned games & activities. Scarecrows are lovingly constructed by school, family, business and community groups, displayed on the day and judged. They are then auctioned to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to the Hawke's Bay Riding for the Disabled groups. The day has the feel of a country fair with great Hawke's Bay food, coffee and wine available. » Find out more 

During Easter each year, Cornelius the scarecrow helps the Easter Bunny out by hiding Easter eggs throughout the Maze. Although we're open from 10am until 5pm, hundreds of Easter eggs are given away between 11am and 2pm each day.
